The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a Research Associate to work in the area of plant physiology and crop improvement. The focus of the project will be on understanding the molecular bases of heat tolerance in crops. The major responsibility of the Research Associate is to carry out experiments related to the generation of “Omics” data” from stress-tolerant and stress-sensitive plant cultivars. It is expected that a Research Associate will work as and part of a small professional team to produce research data, interact with PI on the research plan, interpretation of generated data as well as on outreach activities and supervision of undergraduate students in the laboratory.
