These approaches will give the candidate experience in working with mass flux analysis models, plant gas exchange and both 13C and 18O label tracing. The ideal candidate does not need experience with plant systems but does need a background in GC-MS and/or LC-MS/MS metabolomic approaches. The candidate will use our unique labeling approach and gas exchange instruments to investigate a key issue at the junction between climate change and human nutrition.
