• Develop and lead an independent research program in plant development in the context of environmental factors
• Operate with a high degree of scientific autonomy
• Build and lead a research team (full-time commitment is expected), with the possibility of integrating into or taking over the research activities of the existing supportive research groups

• A strong publication record, including significant contributions as first and/or senior author
• High scientific impact, as evidenced by citation metrics and/or field recognition
• A proven track record of successful grant acquisition
• Experience in supervising students and/or early-career researchers (considered an advantage)
• Experience with the European or American academic environment is considered an advantage.
