The Department of Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering (ABEN), North Dakota State University, is seeking a highly motivated faculty member to serve as a non-tenure track Research Assistant Professor to conduct research in the field of precision agriculture. The appointment is based on a 12-month contract, and renewal of that contract will be dependent upon satisfactory performance. The funding for this position is provided by on-going research effort with USDA ARS. The Research Assistant Professor is expected to establish an independent research program in support of a cooperative agreement with the USDA ARS on the use of UAS/UAV, data management systems, and bioinformatic tools that integrate genetics and environment into the precision management of regional crops.
