A full-time position for a Postdoctoral Associate or Research Scientist is available in the Slotkin Lab, at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center.  The Slotkin Lab research project explores the uses of genome editing in Arabidopsis and crops. The candidate will use the combination of transposable elements and gene editing to design, build and test approaches to engineer plant genomes. A Ph.D. is required, with previous experience desired in molecular cloning, CRISPR-Cas, transposable elements or plant transformation.  The position title offered will be determined based on candidate’s qualifications and experience and should align with their career goals.  For more information, visit our
