The Electric Distribution Manager performs work related to supervision of the construction, maintenance, and repair of the electric power distribution system and performs related work as required. It also maintains street lights and the City’s storm warning sirens. A part of this operation includes working with Technical Services to perform routine and emergency maintenance on all substations and install, disconnect, and maintain all of the electric meters in the system. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: Physical and Environmental Characteristics General Physical Characteristics: The work involves sitting 30 percent of the time; sitting and using arm/leg controls 40 percent of the time; standing and walking 30 percent of the time; occasionally lifting objects under 10 pounds; infrequently lifting objects from 10 to 25 pounds; and infrequently lifting objects from 25 to 50 pounds.
