Post-Doctoral Scientist Position Structure & Regulation of Telomerase in Arabidopsis
A two-year Postdoctoral Scientist position in the Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics at Texas A&M University is available in the laboratory of Dr. Dorothy Shippen to study the structure and regulation of the telomerase RNP complex in Arabidopsis. Dr. Shippen pioneered the use of Arabidopsis as a biochemical and genetic model for telomere biology. This study is part of an NSF-funded research project in collaboration with the laboratory of Dr. Julian Chen (Arizona State University), an expert in telomerase RNA structure and evolution.
