The Benfey lab (https://sites.duke.edu/benfey/) is hiring a full-time research technician. The successful candidate will primarily work on a project examining gene expression at single cell resolution using the Arabidopsis thaliana root as a model.
Duties for this position include preparation of single cell RNA-seq libraries, use/maintenance of a state-of-the-art light sheet microscope, and general molecular biology tasks. Training will be provided though a Bachelor's degree in a life sciences-related field and previous experience in a molecular biology lab are required.
