A postdoc associate position is available in Dr. Jian Hua's lab of Plant Biology Section, School of Integrative Plant Science at Cornell University.
The postdoc associate will study the regulation of calcium signaling in plant immune responses and other environmental responses. The individual will use tools and approaches in genetics, molecular biology and biochemistry to study the function and regulation of calcium transporting systems in immunity and temperature responses using Arabidopsis thaliana as a system.
Highly motivated individuals with genuine interest in the subject are welcome to apply.
Interested individuals should send a CV and a personal statement to Dr. Jian Hua at email@example.com.
A PhD in plant molecular biology related fields and strong publications are required. Experiences in imaging, genetics, biochemistry, and/or cell biology are preferred.
